Let's ban cocaine but McDonald's, microwaves, processed foods, and high fructose corn syrup is available for everybody.

Ethiopians actually discovered the plant. khat was first found in the Hararge highlands, where my mother is from. Its popular amongst Gurage, Oromo and Hararis. My family actually owned one of the largest khat plantations in Harar at one point. The reason why it became popular in yemen was because of the Harar trade link.

personally, i never ate that shyt nor do i ever plan on eating it in the future. But from my travels to the motherland, whenever nikkaz chewed that, in particularly in the night, they was on puzzy patrol. They would not go to sleep unless the fukked something. The conviction and thirst in their eyes

these nikkaz would not sleep and in the morning, the city streets would be flooded with nikkaz acting wayyyyyy off. Like, its so bad back home, that you'd be able to tell who chews and who doesn't. The one that chews excessivley most likely has mental issues (due to lack of sleep and lack of food...as the khat acts a replacement for food). Shyt is straight

Ive never heard of this problem personally. You have to also differentiate between recreational users who will just chew the stuff once a week at a shisha joint and those who will non stop be on that stuff everyday, all week. Its all about moderation, and thats with anything. You wont ever have those problems if you use chaat responsibly and in moderation. Im sure if someone was drinking alcohol everyday, he would have even worse symptoms such as liver damafdamage and even alcohol poisoning death. The average user isnt going to be on that stuff all the time. And Ive never heard of anyone dying of Chaat use whilst alcohol has killed more people than any other drug and has destroyed families, relationships and lives. Yet cacs aint gonna ban alcohol because its apart of their culture. Cacs gotto start respecting other peoples culture
