I had a blow out on the freeway and made my family stay in the car while I changed the flat. Another time when I was much younger I had a blow out on the freeway and my girl and homey got out. I was kinda taken back that my homey did not know how to change a flat tire

I feel you. The entire situation is stupid because your right. Knowing they have to jack up the car. Why were people sitting inside? What were 2 people doing outside hovering? There ain't even enough space to 2 people to be standing around watching closely while one person is kneeling down breaking lug nuts, jacking up a car, especially on the side of the interstate.
I understand wanting to help but for general safety in case the tire explodes or the jack slips people watching or monitoring want to be at a safe distance. I guess they didn't get the memo.

fukked up that happens. I know of two people that got hit while on the side of the road- changing a tire and the other one had his car overheat.They were in critical condition too, in both instances the drivers were never caught.

It was on the driver side and the shoulder was only wide as one lane.
I could feel the wind of each car passing by in the slow lane.
One of the most scariest moments in my life.
