Not only does it hold up... there hasn't been an action movie since that i could say is better..
Some special effects would be done better now but all the action set pieces are real and Hollywood just don't do that anymore.

You can make an argument it modernized the action movie genre. It has aged incredibly well and it belongs in the mount rushmore of action movies.
