Yeah they’re showing Godzilla, Godzilla raids again, Godzilla vs mothra, and ending with mothra.
Dario Argento is a bugged out dude lol. But in a good way. Just thinking about suspira, deep red, phenomena, etc and his influence on the whole genre is strong as hell. But clearly not everyone saw the world the way he did or could create in that aesthetic so they come off as copies. Some of them good copies but still just copies

Vintage Creepshow was Romero right? If we're going strictly MOH then I'm putting up Creepshow and shouting out Tobe Hooper and Sam Raimi...just because

Yes. Me and two of my boys watched it years ago over one summer. All of us felt dirty after it was over. There’s some silly shyt in it that is distracting every now and then but it works for the most part

Yeah, the opening bit is FOUL. The ending is messed up too but the beginning was...woof.
Side note: I went and grabbed last year's list bc a few friends were interested when I mentioned we were doing this. Figured I'd throw it in here
