:stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime: Man I love digital photography, but it has become ridiculous. One vacation trip and I got 2000 pictures, while with a film camera, you had 32 shots, had to make everyone count.

Moms can pull out the photo album and flip through with breeze. Going through your pics on the tablet, TV everyone is :hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm: after your first 100 "only 900 more to go" :lupe:

No lie, breh :heh:

Truthfully, tho. You gotta edit your pics when you go over them on your pc/laptop/tablet. You gotta delete the blurry ones, doubles, whack ones, etc. I always dump 25 - 33% of the pics I take, then edit off a chunk for facebook. The file folder on my pc has the director's cut.

Film rolls were usually in 24 and 36 counts.
Not 32.
But that's besides the point.
There is still a certain feel that you get with film shots that you just don't quite capture in digital. Especially when it comes to black and white film.
But I guess now with photoshop and filters, you can duplicate almost anything.
I'll tell you though, shooting film when you first start out is a costly pain in the neck. If your settings aren't right or if you had a light leak in the camera, a whole roll could be ruined.
I used to develop film and sell camera equipment and I can't tell you how many people came back with vacation photos that amounted to garbage.
That said, film shooting really is the best way to learn.
Sometimes I want to go on Craiglist and buy an old Pentax K1000 and get some Takumars and go to town. Or a Nikon FM10.
A few weeks ago I saw a used F5 for $200.
