how is that any different from the way sharing used games has always been? unless it's a multiplayer game, i'm usually done after i beat it anyways.

I thought we were talking about 10 people paying $6 each. someone gets to play first, someone else has to wait for 9 other people to play, but everyone paid the same amount

that's true. whoever's account the game is on can play at any time. but that would be yet another inequality in trying to split it evenly like that

we're talking about the cost of a game if it's shared with X amount of people, did you read what i was responding to?

if the aim is to eventually remove physical gaming and do away with the ability to sell and loan games, they need to make us believe it's worth it. M$ tried to restrict our rights then say "well, down the line, maybe we could have had cheaper games :ld: "

nah that's pimp talk, M$ trying to treat gamers like hoes and most of us saw through it. bring out a cheaper gaming model first, give us the ability to share it with a couple of people; then gamers will have less resistance to this shift. the way the ps3 was originally setup was beautiful. if you bought a game digitally, you could login to 5 other ps3s and download it onto their hard drive.

I'm just saying that although 10 people could split a game like that, I don't think it's a scenario that would happen much
