haven't seen either team play this year but typically Izzo's team start out slow and turn it on at the end of the year

Should be a good match up but Izzo's teams always struggle in the beginning of the season.

Exactly this. Calipari gets shytted on often for being just a recruiter that has too much talent to lose but he's far and away a better coach as far as schematics than someone like Self.

Self's entire defensive strategy was based on not letting Bryn Forbes get hot from the 3...in doing so and not adjusting he let Denzel Valentine run wild through the lane and set up open teammates. And Forbes still ended up with 13 points.
