How does that not make sense? Gay people are attracted to physical characteristics of the same sex but that doesn't mean that they're attracted to feminine or masculine personality traits.

Same way you might be attracted to women but not like hoodrat personality traits. Sexual orientation is only what gender you're physically attracted to.

I dont care for understanding gay people but I dont get why certain gays feel the need to act in a certain manor.

You're assuming that they view that the same way that we do and that's Where your error lies. Contrary to what you think, it's possible for them to be attracted to the physical characteristics of the same sex but feminine and masculine mannerisms.

Same way that you might have dealt with a chick that wasnt physically fukkable but she had mannerisms and personality traits that would have done it for you in a more attractive female.

If you saw a dude that had all the mannerisms of a female, that's how they lesbians (who are attracted to butch men) feel when they see a masculine man. You're not the sex they're attracted to but it doesn't mean they don't like more masculine mannerisms. You don't want feminine mannerisms in a man but you still want and appreciate femininity.
