Life is Good was a groundbreaking album to me because we never saw such an in depth look into the troubles of being a middle aged man who is self-admittedly so far from his youth ("I've been richer longer than I've been broke, I confess")... from such an AMAZING rapper... take off Summer on Smash and this album is a certified classic IMO.

Now we all know his album is done cause of DJ Khaled's song. Where does he go from here? What do you think he's going to touch on? Is he going to stay on this kind of style or switch it up? The only sort of song we got since Life is Good is The Season.... this came out like Halloween 2014

Pretty dope track over a classic beat but I don't think it's really gonna be close to the most in depth track on the album. I really don't know what topics he's gonna theme songs with.

I'm thinking he is going to stay on mature topics of being a 40 year old, share some evidence of street cred in stories, touch here and there on some consciousness or maybe some politics, sting some haters who talk grimey like " The Season" and may some cool fillers. I just hope he has the nice old school hip hop vibe like LIG did. That to me is what made it special. He didn't trend hop like that Magna Carta shyt. I think he gets to do enough of that on his features and sound track joints.

Hopefully with more consistent beats and an exec producer picking them. Swizz has some good beats in the last few years but I don't have confidence in Nas picking good ones. Summer On Smash is terrible. Reach Out had no business being on a 2012 album imo.

Give me Q-Tip, DJ Dahi, Alchemist, Kanye, Black Metaphor, Terrace Martin, maybe 9th Wonder. Let Rick Ross pick the beats.
