40lb pack, 90deg heat, 30min uphill walk, ......@ 7k ft elevation & no stops

I’ve carried more weight and walked further but the elevation would get to me. In the marines I was carrying 60+ Lbs with a M249 with spare ammo through a desert in 100+ heat for 8 miles.

I used to do hikes in co all the time with heavy backpacks and high heat in the summer. This would be lightwork for me back then, now it would be a bit harder but I would have to stop a few times

I’ve been to 6k elevation in colorado and I remember being tired as hell just going up a set of stairs. It takes a min to get used to.

That elevation would prob body me. The high altitude(and peds) is the reason a lot of these Mexican fighters have a crazy gas tank for all 12.

Never been that high up, but I know I can do it at sea level.

Sea level, ok now you talking bout the actual "Mogadishu mile", 2.5 - 3 miles, brisk walk, with pack.
No clue how long it took them though. I assume they didn't stop but I've no clue.

My lungs aren't used to that altitude so I'm gonna need some stops to get the ole smoke bags right

I don't know how my body would react to the 7k foot altitude ...that's before mentioning the additional 90deg heat

If it means giving water to people that look like me, I’d def do that shyt to the best of my ability.

But I’d probably pass out or my lungs might explode or some shyt due to the elevation
