Meh, from what I've been hearing and seeing this movie is more about Branch Rickey than Jackie Robinson.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but the fact that Jackie is played by a virtual unknown and the rest of the cast are either big stars or well known character actors doesn't bode well.

movie looks really good

although seeing detective stabler flipping out in the locker room had me laughing a little bit

and I actually thought this was an actual good use of the Jay song...it fit really well here.

- Dodgers adopted the helmet years before Jackie's rookie year, so that beaning scene is inaccurate.

- That JayZ music is way out of place and takes away from the movie.
