That's a horrible ripoff. You don't go to a 3rd world country to live in an apartment building with noisy neighbors in your left and right.
It's hustling backwards when You could have a whole villa to yourself with that kinda money.
And it's a 1 bedroom ,

Thailand isn’t considered a third world country though. In another 5 to 10 years they’ll most likely be considered an 1st world country with the economic strides they’re making.

my only issue is that this is in Thailand....it would fine for a month or so...but i wouldnt want to live there long term

400 a month for a place he is probably going to be only there to sleep mostly, in an area that has a bunch of shyt to do day and night is reasonable to me. The place is furnished and he is somewhere where the amenities are all in one spot, what is the problem? I do not think he expressed in that video his place was luxurious, just that it is his.
Do you really think 400 dollars is going to get you a villa for a month, do you? Looking at the area he is in, one bedroom villas are going for $100+ A NIGHT. Why would he need a villa for himself, just to say he is living it up in Pattaya? He has a cool little spot where he is for an affordable price and that works for him, everyone does not need or want large places to stay when they travel.

Could probably get a whole compound in Chiang Mai for the same price, although you don't get the beach. Love that country man, if I was in the expat game it'd be right at the top.
