I've been sitting back thinking a lot lately about life and how things truly are in this world. I came to the realization that life is what you make it. I use to be one of the dudes who was a cynic who thought everything was fake and nothing was real or had meaning. I didn't believe love, loyalty, trust or friendship was real, just some fake shyt people did to ease the pain of living. I didn't believe in the inherent goodness that is within us all. I was perfectly content to sit in my lonely misery and not believe in anything. Until I felt something real than I realized that things can change so fast and I went from being the old me into being who I am now.
I see good and opportunity in everything now. I realized that if you want anything in life you just have to go out and get because it's there for the taking. A lot of people don't have faith in themselves. They think just because something seems hard that it is not worth doing but that is far from the truth because everything worth doing is gonna be a little hard but it deserves a chance to live. Hell it might even deserve 5 or 6 chances to live and thrive, You can do anything or be anything you want to be you just have to GO AND GET IT. There is never gonna be a right time for anything because life will always have a surprise waiting for you. Don't let opportunities pass you by because of fear of the unknown or because you worried if it is possible. I can't live by fear and be worried about stuff that may or may not happen anymore. I can only do what feels right to me and take it one day at a time. That's my new philosophy in life brehs. I have the best intentions and my heart is in the right place in anything I do. If I choose to do something i'm gonna give it 1000% of me and chase it until it works. I choose to live life with a view of optimism because being a skeptic was destroying me from the inside. If I fail I'll just get up and try again until I succeed but I can think negative and not at least try.
I can do anything if I give it my all. I'm young, intelligent, strong and all that other cliche shyt. I can't fail because it's too easy to reach and no other choice but for it to work. Y'all can do it too. Please don't give me a excuse because life isn't fair for us as black people but we still got to survive and prosper. I have faith in y'all I know you guys have this passion and fire also. So if y'all got someone that makes you feel good hold them close and do what ever you guys want to do because you can do it brehs. We only got time on this earth brehs use it on things you love with the people you love. Stop thinking negative it's dangerous.

Good post, but only thing I'd add to the thread is, i think some ppl don't realize (not saying you OP, just in general), is that a man can be successful yet still be a pessimist, or in my case generally indifferent

Im not negative or positive, I'm indifferent, and I am successful

But when some of u see us say some even remotely or semi nihilistic stuff on here u assume we're all potheads living with our mama making $7 an hr
