I think only some sort of tragic death or me getting a terminal disease could bring me to tears out of sadness.
I didn't even cry when I found out I had HSV-2.
Weird thing is? Emotional moments in sports can bring me to tears. I damn near started tearing up watching "Four Falls of Buffalo" when Scott Norwood gave that speech to the city after missing the kick in Super Bowl 25. Dude is still tore up about it to this day
