The 3 sons & older daughter are all biracial. the only one who isn't is Marsai (the younger girl).
i seen quite a few tweets of confused people stating Blackish was basically Mixedish already.
I don't see the purpose of adding the "ish" on the end of Mixed.

I watched the first two episodes, and they don’t do race humor the way Blackish does. It’s mostly serious stuff about race with no jokes.
There are a few funny moments, but maybe it’s a show that mixed people relate to, and that’s the purpose.
Some great one liners though
“We start at white 9 o’clock.”
Funny now, but not so funny in 1985 when black people were just starting to enter office workplaces.
This. It kinda points out that mixed actors have already taken black actors place so.....
