fukk canelo. I'm glad crawford put that ginger out the pasture

Canelo however is a legend, a Mexican legend on top of it. A fight with him in a barn would do numbers. He also chased him for years as canelo duck and dodged at every chance just to get taken to school by a blown up welterweight :mjlol:

I know you want to play dumb and act like both of these situations can be compared 1:1 but they can't.

What does Jai have to offer? Hes not a name, hes not p4p, he has no belt. hes on zurfer. he can't even get motion in his home country :scusthov:

Chasing Canelo would be fighting the top guys, knocking everybody off, making yaself the guy - so Canelo had to come and see you. Protecting ya "O" - tryna justify Alexis Angulo type fights, when the hitters is waiting for you. Ya boy was chasing a check.

What does Jai offer? Ain't he the ring champ, and lineal at Cruiser? What does Ben Whittaker offer? Bc a month or so ago, Benavidez teamed tried to make him an offer. Yall keep saying Zuffer - like money dont talk. Like Turki ain't been mentioning Beterbiev and Jai - for Benavidez, for over a year

Benavidez got the finesse game down to a T. Like yall really believe his bullshyt :mjlol:

stop this nonsense :skip:

yes, going from 168 to 200 is protecting your 0. meanwhile Clenelo fighting euro bums and William Skrulls of the world

Canelo is a ATG, but his late stage antics are what they are.

Turk said ok fatboy no more bum fights :beli:

David ruined his plans to make that beterbiev fight so he's not playing any more games with him. If David manages to get by bivol turk is gonna give him two options. Beterbiev or usyk. Or he can go fukk off in obscurity.

He clearly wants no parts of opetaia. If morell rocked him twice imagine if opetai connects cleanly on him. I could see him putting David to sleep for real. Ever since David got rocked by gavril early in his career his pops been protecting him from big punchers. I could actually see David ducking beterbiev for usyk. Usyk would beat the brakes off him and knock him out but David wouldn't lost any respect for it. And it would be a big payday. So it wouldn't surprise me. I wouldn't be mad at it. But either way the walls are closing in on David. He has no choice but to put his feet to the fire.

Benavidez beats both:umad:

David Benavidez: I'd like to offer a catchweight fight to Dmitry Bivol at 190 pounds with both the light heavyweight & Crusierweight titles on the line.

Host: So can you still get to 175 if that is what Bivol wants, to defend his light heavyweight title?
David: Umm uhh I think I can still get to 175. But if I do fight him, it won't be like till the end of the year. I know It won't be in September
Host: So besides Bivol, would you want to face Beterbiev?
David: Well no, I don't want to face Beterbiev because Bivol has the belts

This guy :dead: :dead: :pachaha:

David Benavidez's street team @Deafheaven @Apollo Creed @R=G @NormanConnors ... are going to try to ignore this interview

Like I said earlier in this thread...

For me, I'm just going by how David moves. My view of David Benavidez is that I think he sees himself as a Top 15 PFP guy, but wants his fans to believe he's a Top 5 PFP guy
So much double speak with him. That's why I can't rock with him like that. He chose Zurdo because he knew it was a lesser fighter he could look good against

What is your argument?

Bivol is p4p and more accomplished than Jai And took Canelos scalp.

Is english you nikkas 3rd language or something?

Like how is this a street team? Bivol is the fight to make and Bivol is literally more accomplished than every 175 and Cruiser and is a Ring champ and not locked into a Bingo hall deal

David: Well no, I don't want to face Beterbiev because Bivol has the belts

Mind you. The entire time David was calling out canelo. He had ZERO belts :skip:

When David missed weight in 2020, The WBC gave him the opportunity to fight for beterbiev's title at 175. He then begged and pleaded to be reinstated at 168 and swore on his mother's life he would never miss weight again.

David never wanted any parts of beterbiev. Artur is like 5 years past his prime and he's still scared to death of him.

But David played it smart. He avoided Artur at all costs. Now he's in position to fight bivol for the belts. Who's also past his prime and looking worn down. Bivol went through two wars with Artur and then had back surgery. He already looked less mobile and slower in the beterbiev rematch and he'll prolly look worse now. Beating bivol is more attainable. Less risky. Even if he loses he's not gonna take crazy damage. But beterbiev is still a wild card. One big punch can be lights out. David's chin could be ruined forever in that fight.

David's only chance to land that canelo fight is getting undisputed at 175. As getting undisputed at 175 has always been a dream of canelos, to stamp his legacy. So from a business standpoint I get ducking beterbiev. But people just gotta admit David is no different than anybody else in this game. All that "I fight for the fans" bullshyt is just apart of the image. He cherry picks just like everybody else. Always has.

If Benavidez beats Opetai whats going to be the next goal post, because I dont see Opetai beating him.

Beterbiev is only getting older and for some reason Davids sparring has him real confident that he can beat Bivol but i still got my money on Bivol. Thats the only person i see beating David until he moves to heavy weight.

Whole family full of clowns. Now you're not worthy of a fight if you're not big enough. But yet David deserved a shot at canelo with his measly 65k ppv buy average:mjlol: .....I been saying from day 1 these dudes are full of shyt. Always been movin with caution.

There's a reason they've always ducked big punchers. That's why I knew morell could expose his chin again and he did. Now just imagine opetai or beterbiev. David doesn't have a strong neck. If you hit him flush he gets that nasty whiplash action and gets all discombobulated. David is prolly more talented than Jai, but if Jai connects clean he can definitely put David clean out.

I forgot which Coach/Trainer said it. But a fighter KNOWS their limitations and what their weaknesses are
Goes way back to Floyd Patterson's coach Cus D'amato telling Floyd to avoid Sonny Liston, because he knew his fighter

To give David Benavidez some credit, I think he is intelligent. He knows someone like Beterbiev is very elite in punching between your punches, very underrated counter puncher and boxer. Look at that Callum Smith and Gvozdyk fight. Benavidez who lets his hands go gives way too much opportunities to get countered. I'd say similar with Jai Opetaia where Jai can punch with him, but he's a different fighter

With Bivol, he sees his lack of footspeed making it hard to catch Bivol. So he's thinking of trying for a "catchweight" to have some size advantage and thinks it might make somewhat of a difference

I never listen to what David says, I follow how he moves in this Boxing game trying to play matchmaker lol
