not having a car loan isn't realistic for most people anymore, given what happened to the car market. throwing 10k at a decent car barely exists anymore

so i'd say there's nothing wrong with having a note on a reliable 20k car. that's different than people financing a 50k+ car that they don't need/actually can't afford

you only live once, so if you want it, go for it. but as far as good financial decisions are concerned

I got 10 payments left on my car and I’m never getting another car loan again :obama:
This would have been a realistic statement ~10 years ago. The way they make these cars in the 2020's mannnn. You used to be able to keep a car for decades and service everything yourself. Now they wanna make shyt not serviceable to the point of making buying another car more sensible than making major repairs. These nikkas making you change whole headlights. CVT's yelling allah akbar. Can't even check your transmission fluid.

Facts. I have 12 left. I can’t imagine a situation leasing or financing another vehicle after this one. If I ever get the desire to purchase a new vehicle, straight cash or it’s staying right there.

so i'd say there's nothing wrong with having a note on a reliable 25k car. that's different than people financing a 50k+ car that they don't need/actually can't afford

You can get a lil gas saver for $15k. Car note aint bad as long as you aint check to check. Start off small and work your way up
