The CEO at my old career told me a story I’d never forget:
He was helping his brother redecorate his home, so he wearing causal clothes but there was of course paint and some dust on his attire.

We still gotta cook the food, she still gotta eat the food. She still gotta close her tab, And then we still gotta clean up after her when shes finished with all that. Gonna take way longer than 30 minutes. Meanwhile the waitress she gave $700 to, gonna be long gone by the time we are done. We still gonna be broke leaving work 1 hour later
My problem is more that they reward the wrong people. not really the extra work.
The waitresses that ignored her probably just didn't want to piss of the kitchen
being the last person to leave at the end of the night, with an empty pocket containing zero tips is the woat feeling.

If they have one in East Point, pretty sure I've been there. Some of the worst service and ambiance I've ever had at a restaurant.
