don't care about the impending neg train, this shyt was hot.

IMO the song gets a bad wrap cause it came amidst the beefs and the accusations that he was becomin a pop sellout. i think the hardcore fans wanted more aggressive content from fif, and when that new album was ready to drop and everyone was thirstin... i think they were a lil disappointed when they learned the debut single was on that softer tip.

but if candy shop HADN'T been the lead single, and ppl just stumbled upon it when they first ran through the album... i think they woulda been more open to it.

beat = fire
flow = fire
hook = fire

track was smooth as fukk.

This is the track and album where he lost me at. Video was corny as hell too. I mean, I can appreciate video hoes as much as the next guy, but the scene where 50 had the girl hit him with the whip and his shirt came off, had to have been one of the corniest things I've ever seen a rapper do. He was trying way too hard when his effortlessness beforehand is what was his main appeal in the beginning.

i personally loved all The Massacre singles. 50's flow on them was insanely smooth, hooks were catchy, verses were straight.
