I agree. Some of Gucci's best material was right after that incident.

This is difficult, trying to imagine how rappers' careers would have unfolded had certain things not happened. I just think Gucci and Jeezy were a lot better at what they were trying to do than 50 and Game, at those points in their careers. But just think of it this way: neither Game or 50 can be seriously considered relevant today, while the other two are.

Edit: The recent G-Unit reunion notwithstanding. That seriously came out of left field and caught everyone off guard- plus, it has very little to do with Game, if anything at all.

Ah, I see what you're saying. My bad, I thought you were suggesting that no one was listening to or following G-Unit before that.

I agree with what you were actually saying though, fully. I still think as a pair of rappers though, Gucci and Jeezy had more potential. If we're comparing these two to G-Unit as a whole, had they not broken up, my answer would have been different. But that wasn't the question.

Game/50 would have released so much classic shyt their chemistry was crazy together and anyone saying that the beef between the two wasn't the start of the downfall for GUnit is crazy. At that time they were Damn near untouchable nobody could survive a battle with them and then dude came in and went at all of them with no fukks being given.
