I remember 50 said he went to his grandmother basement to write the songs for the Curtis album to get back in that mindset he was in prior to GRODT, I'm SHOCKED Fif is not the original artist of this track


Song is still dope though, both versions, Bishop is sort of dropping knowledge in his version which is dope

I'm surprised that many people didn't like this track, I always thought 5-0 was trash for the most part from like 2007 but I liked this one

50 was hated long before that, beefing with LOX/Fat Joe/Game hurt his image a lot, Game's 300 bars diss single handily made G Unit

50 was the most popular rapper in the game, possibly all of music until Jada dropped checkmate then his popularity started to decline from there on out.


I don't see why people would turn on Fif for challenging Kanye, it was friendly competition and it was a GREAT moment in Hip Hop history, especially how different the subject matter was on the two albums.


I would love to see two popular rappers drop on the same day again, I hope Jay's next album drops the same day as the Carter 5
