50 is an example of your authentic self being your most marketable trait…a rare example since most of these people you see are fake as shhit and putting on airs and frontin.

He is authentically a grown man who mentally is a wild, on the spectrum ass 18 year old deviant nig but spent 3-5 months at a prestigious business school or sumn so he’s more calculated and polished, lol, that’s the appeal. DMX mixed with Jayz mixed with some Master P = 50 Cent

Except he raps like Cat In The Hat everytime we hear from him

His posts are still funny from time to time but then I look at the comments and it's the whole "wow 50 don't play", "he's too real for the industry" and it's super corny

Not to mention Kanye West ran his ass out the rap game and he didn't really end anyone's career except Ja Rule (who was already trending down) and the artists signed to his own label

I think he genuinely believed he was gonna end Ross’s career but Ross only got bigger

Which is pretty funny in hindsight.

I'm from 50's borough and even I saw a big decline in interest in 50 out here after the Grad/Curtis battle. Curtis being a generally bad album carried by one song(I Get Money) made 50 deemed washed for good. The G Unit wave was already slowing down after 05 which was evident in Banks/Bucks 2nd albums not making noise but Curtis(album) cemented it.

50 going at Ross in 2009 even with the CO exposure on his side made him look very desperate. He was very foul with it but it looked like 50 was throwing all his eggs into one basket and depending on Ross to make him relevant again. Meanwhile, Ross already dropped Trilla in 08 which was much hotter than the 2nd G Unit album so Ross was already on an uphill trajectory while G Unit was ice cold. Even the beef and being on a number 1 song with Eminem/Dre didn't make BISD outsell Deeper Than Rap. And the rest is history.

I will never understand that fall off

It’s like he can’t stay on beat

It’s damn near like ….. pun before he died

It’s like his breathing is off and his voice is way more husky

Rapping is something you have to keep doing if you take too long of a break you won’t get it back

It’s like when a rapper comes out of jail they never get back to what they was

The only one I can think of that went to jail and didn’t sound too different was

Prodigy
And slick Rick

I’m waiting to hear max b
Pac
Wayne

Shorter bids obviously.

Even the decent sounding 50 songs nowadays get ruined by his own verses.

Part Of The Game had a good beat and great hook but 50's and NLE's verses were borderline unlistenable to me.

Banks should've done a mixtape remix to that song.
His Nas feature from a couple years ago was horrific
