Music hasn't been lucrative for artists since the end of the 2000's and when 360 deals started. Word is Drake only makes 11% profit from all his music (which he still has to split). 50 was the man when GRODT came out , but yet he was only making 6 cents per album sold (or maybe it was 8, too lazy to look it up). He had to split the money between Dre, Em, Jimmy, and Chris Lighty. Being "hot" in music don't mean shyt if you ain't making money. But y'all swear it does.
