Pretty sure a stock is ownership claim and you let the money come in. Shareholders work with and appoints a chairman. Every share is a vote. Ever heard of term activist investor? And you do realize when a corporation buys another it buys up majority shares? Owning shares does make you boss and then you set up the structure of the corporation.

Fair enough. Depends on how you want to define things. But coke doesn't listen to buffet at all? Lol. Apple listens to Carl Ichan and he owns less than 1%.

I understand privately held companies. But I define a boss as someone that doesn't need to sign off on documents like a CEO and still gets the benefits of success without management responsibility and without punching a clock...you tell people to make you money.
