50 Cent stopped by Hot 97 to speak with Funkmaster Flex about a few things. He first talks about the delay of his new album, Floyd Mayweather and his upcoming fight, Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse, Nas, Steve Stoute, Ebro Daren, beef between Cassidy and Meek Mill. He also spoke on the downfall of New York Hip-Hop, Jay-Z speaking on his buzz, Troy Ave relationship with Lil Wayne, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks & Kidd Kid. 50 finished things off by speaking on his upcoming SMS boxing event in New York that will take place on Monday.

Interesting that Start It Up (Lloyd Banks) & Raid (Pusha T) was a verse for a verse swap between Kanye West & 50 Cent

Nobody thought 50 was going to respond to the King of NY line. This nikka still thinks it's 2003.

definitely right about Nas making bad business decisions in the 90s, that sowed the seeds for where he is now and where Jay is. I love Nas but for all the shyt he talks about science...dude just didn't have a business mind. He's better now but he kinda wasted his best years, business wise.

We all know Nas aint the most business savvy guy....but his manager has himself stated that Nas turns down deals and avoids opportunities all the time because he just wants to do music. He doesn't even want to be a celebrity...which is probably why Stoute gravitated towards Jay, because Jay was after the money lol.

the only reason he's doing it now is because of the child support

Its easy for these nikkas from the 2000's to come in talkin bout 90's nikkas made bad business decisions....when the fact is the boom in the 2000's thanks to cats from the 90's made business decisions possible and easy, where business decisions basically came and found them....and besides that not everybody is in it to reach a billion which a cat like 50 don't understand...some just wanna live comfortable with nice things and be able to support they familys:manny:...Nas seems to be going after that stuff more now either due to child support or knowing his time is winding down.....I think Nas himself did say he spent too much in the 90's though but he got it back and apparently got it out his system:manny:

And let's be honest,Nas coulda tried to go pop plenty of times and make songs for the ladies, but his core fans probaly woulda cried and resented him for it....and he mightve lost them trying to do that,so not makin those type of records to pop mighta been a smart decision knowing the self righteous smart dumb nikka fans he has:mjpls:
