Ellerbe Roasts 50 Cent Over Floyd Mayweather Jabs

Leonard Ellerbe, adviser to Floyd Mayweather Jr., has issued a response to rapper 50 Cent, who recently took a few swings at Mayweather on the social networks. At one time they were close friends, but that relationship fell apart when 50 Cent started his own promotional company, TMT Promotions, which he believed Mayweather was going to be involved in.

Mayweather backed away from TMT and continued to work with his existing partners, Golden Boy Promotions and adviser Al Haymon

WBC welterweight champion, Floyd Mayweather, has been reluctant to talk about his broken relationship with former close friend 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson), but he finally opened up to during a conversation with Ben Thompson.

Thompson recently revealed that 50 Cent and former Mayweather associate Tommy Summers, tried to convince Floyd to cut ties with business advisor Al Haymon while he was incarcerated at the Clark County Detention, and FightHype.com was able to get a hold of a letter sent to "Money."

Mayweather didn't go into the details of his relationship with 50 Cent, but he reaffirmed his loyalty with long-time advisors Leonard Ellerbe and Haymon.

"It speaks for itself," Mayweather said about the attempted takeover. "I love Al Haymon. Of course, any friends are going to bump heads, but at the end of the day, I'm loyal to who I'm with. … Me and Leonard been through a lot of ups and downs together, but at the end of the day, he's in my corner. He rides with me and I ride with him. I stick with my team. I'm loyal to my team.

What's reported and what's true are 2 different things. All we as the public get is each parties side of the story, without it being challenged or authenticated. So as one poster already said, we don't know what happened other than each party making sure they look better.

Also this speculation that 50 gave in. All I heard was DJWhooKid said hey floyd called and he said you guys are cool again. And from that all this gossip shyt started.

I would love to see a 50 album fully produced by Timbo, all of their joints have been dope, and could imagine it reinvigorating 50.
