There's not just one reason he blackballed. It all started with Game still being signed to G-Unit. Iovine didn't like Game dissing 50 (hurting one of his brands,) and he didn't like 50 bragging about Game owing him so many albums (hurting another of his brands) At that point Jimmy had told both of them to just leave it. He was makin money of both and both were super famous at the time so just wanted them to both 'co-exist' (Henchmond put the battery in Games back as well known). To cut long story short Game kept dissing 50 so was dropped to Geffen (less shipping, lower budgets etc) as punishment. 50 kept bragging in interviews about owning Game, Jimmy punished 50 by opening up a very small recording budget for BISD (Ever notice the drop off in 'name' producers between Curtis and BISD?_ That's why, 50 retaliated with that mixtape track where he talking "fukk iovine etc" So Jimmy benched him. 50 then went the headphone route as a middle finger to both Dre and Iovine. (Dre didn't help Fif through any of this, no constant communication etc after G-Unit got between Dre and Suge and La at the In Da Club shoot and Buck at the awards etc) So both camps are kinda cool but kinda at odds. Certainly not friends.
