It only took a single TV interview for 50 Cent to elevate trash-talking to a whole new level.

The frank-talking rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, made little effort to hold back his opinion during his appearance on the U.S. cable program Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night.

According to Us Weekly, during the course of the sit-down, host Andy Cohen invited the rapper to participate in a recurring WWHL segment called Plead the Fifth, in which the interview subject is asked the three most uncomfortable questions imaginable.

The interviewee can either answer, or plead the fifth, which can often be an answer in itself.

In the case of 50 Cent, Cohen referenced the rapper’s recent revelation that Beyoncé screamed at him in front of photographers at an event held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas last New Year’s Eve (“She bugged out at me,” he said when describing the incident, according to Us Weekly).

So what’s it like to have the world’s most famous diva shriek at you with paparazzi watching?

“It’s not really bad, like her breath doesn’t smell,” 50 Cent told Andy Cohen, according to Us Weekly. “But it’s one of those things, like the paparazzi were taking pictures of us at the same time, so there’s not really a right way to respond. You’ve just got to accept it. You’ve just got to have an expression on your face, like, ‘What’s the matter with you?’”

Added 50 Cent: “It’s like if you’re in an elevator and you’re attacked, you can’t do nothing” – a pretty obvious dig at the recent incident in which Beyoncé’s sister, Solange Knowles, went after Jay Z in an elevator in a New York hotel.

For question number two, Cohen asked 50 Cent what it was like having sex with Kim Kardashian. Say what?

To his credit, the rapper kept his cool. “We never…” he started before switching to, “We took pictures with each other in Australia at the MTV Awards and I posed the picture.”

For the third and final question, Cohen asked his guest, “Who is the most overrated hip-hop star of all time?”

And this time, 50 Cent did not hesitate.

“I mean, Jay Z,” he answered. “He would say he was overrated. Rather be overrated than underpaid.”

Thanks for the candour, Mr. Cent. But is it possible you’re ticked off that Jay Z finished higher than you in Forbes’ recent ranking of hip-hop’s wealthiest artists? Just saying.
