50k a year, but you're your own boss -vs- 100k a year, 80 hours a week and you have a boss?

Which option?

  • 50k + independence

  • 100k + boss + long hours

I’d take the 50K option with my peace of mind.

I’ll also add that everyone isn’t built for that entrepreneur life though. Most people don’t have the discipline.

50K to just do the following:

  • Travel to places I want to travel
  • Write
  • Enjoy various food items
  • Motivate
  • Live comfortable
I'm a simple marsupial, just give me a laptop, backpack, clothes, and some shoes and I'm good.

Damn that slave shyt :francis:

My own boss. I hate working for these crackers. Trust the moment I replace my salary I’m gone. You can always cut your expenses to save and stack more money, and then put your savings to work for you overtime to start earning more.

I'm convinced that 40 percent of the Coli don't have families, so money driven to the point of fukk living life, or will never settle down for shyt because 'hustle":picard:

I think it’s mostly people without alot of money with this mentality. Now that I’m coming into my own financially I can see clearly that the most money comes in an easy manner rather than constant nonstop grinding.

I thought you had to push your hustle to the limit but with 2 current jobs, this is honestly the least I’ve ever worked in my career. Making 5x as much as I made previously. shyt feels like robbery sometimes. Smarter not harder is real as fukk.

Folks think I'm crazy with such a thought process, but I value my life and family over going crazy hours for nothing to show but money you will barely enjoy until you either have a vacation or retire as a broken down person.
