50th Anniversary of the March on Washington.

Any Coli brethren coming out for this event tomorrow? Apparently it's supposed to lead all the way up to the point where Dr. King made his speech. is supposed to come out and give his own speech at that very spot and whatever he says should be interesting ESPECIALLY if he talks about the state of blacks in America (which I kind of doubt). I have a feeling this is going to be more of a feel good event than the initial screening of "The Butler"....can't wait.





Hopefully a few East African Howard joints decide they're feeling political.



















But on another note I find this 50th anniversary march kind of a pointless exercise seeing as how things are actually worse now than back then. But they don't hear me though.

I will be there and this ^^^ statement is debatable.

If you value education, worked hard to get an education, didn't have any children out of wedlock and lived your life under the wise words of Booker T. Washington chances are you're right now.

All others are bytching and complaining about alot of shyt they have done to themselves with poor choices.

So you don't feel the private prison industrial complex has poor people (especially poor people of color) in a full nelson right now? They aren't shutting down schools to build prisons?

I feel bad for people locked up for crimes they did NOT commit. All others, whether poor or not, can go to hell. You do the crime, you do the time.

Go to school. Get an education. Or learn an employable trade. Get married. Don't have any children out of wedlock. Take care of your responsibilities. Stop blaming people for shyt you can control. Understand that life is what you make it.
