3 memories of Com Sense
1) Austin - He did a tour with the Beatnuts during the Resurrection Era - missed the show. I WAS PISSED.
2) Houston - he toured with KRS - saw that show ($5) AND Common was freestyling in the parking lot. I wish we had smartphones back then (sorta, I might been caught up in some effery...)
3) Austin - He was there for something, I was easing my way out of the game at that point (the game had other plans though)
I'm rolling in the Civic (97, bug eye era), and I was rolling with crew. I saw him on the street.
YO COMMON!
He waved me down. He wanted to get to some hotel on 9th? maybe. Jumps in the 'Vic. Everybody in the ride is telling him their favorite songs.
Dropped him off, gave me a pound.
At some point, potna was in my top 10.....
