Ever since Kdot's legendary album dropped..and Kdot's crazy feature game as of late Kdot has been being compared to Drake as his sort of rival..and vice versa

Both known for having incredible guest verses
Consistently outshining their peers on collabs
And both being relatively new

These 2 this year have both dropped verses laying their claim to the throne

Not too long ago Drake dropped an awe droppin track known as 5AM in toronto that shocked Drake believers and doubters alike

While throwin personal subliminals at a certain r&b artist Drake would in many words and with also very clever wordplay and entendres would say that he is the king because the rap game cannot survive without him..and that soo many of these rapper's careers still stand because of Drake's skill and work on the mic and pen
Drake makes a very strong point but there seems to be one who wont just let that rock

Kdot has stopped the hip hop world in its tracks with a very powerful verse that has shook up the rap game in a way it hasnt been shooken up in a while

Kdot in a very aggressive and vulgar manner also lays claim for the throne. But in a way thats very different from Drake's method.
Kendrick simply in soo many and vulgar ways lays claim to the throne by claiming that these "new nikkaz" are below and Kendrick and that Kendrick is already in the place of the greats like Jay and Nas.
Whether u believe that or not, theres no denying that there was enough power behind those words, so much so that it has brought upon a reaction from a plethora of rappers from all types of standings and time periods. And it seems..Kdot doesnt fear the potential consequences

It has been a great year for hip hop and moreso for the new generation side of things

With these 2 rivals who have both and I believe rightfully so laid their claim for the throne..which track and which rapper do u think made the greatest case? :ohhh:

5 am is slightly better lyrically cus it is in subliminal form that makes for more clever lines. Kendrick was just ruthless. I dunno.

Drake.

Easy.

See, what a lot of people don't appreciate is how SLICK Drake is with slipping in punchlines and shots at other people but people pass him up because he signs here and tehre.

he RIPPED that freestyle.

He had everyone going nuts too when he dropped that because thats precisely what they thought Drake COULDNT do.

Drake is more talented when it comes to nuance and subtlety and putting words together in a way that works musically.
