5cacs vs isolation.

New position just opened up at work which lets you work by yourself with zero interaction with anyone else for 8hrs/day. It’s a $13,000 pay increase/ yr. But the work is SUPER boring.

Where I'm currently at I work with a handful of cacs but the work is more engaging. It makes the time go by fast and I like the challenge.

Back to the cacs. They never said anything off brand to my face, we get along professionally and the work itself is very engaging and I enjoy the challenge.

See my thing is wtf am I going to do for 8hrs a day? I ain’t gonna have no one to interact with and I don’t want to become one of those weird ass isolated people with sub par people skills.

Scenario 1 is my dream situation. I know alot of people were hurting during the lockdown but I had the time of my life.

No lines. I didn't have to show my face in meetings. WFH forced us to use email and chat more often, so less hersey bullshyt. Waking up 5 mins before clocking in. Not needing to get dressed for cacs. Not having to go job functions to avoid being the weird one in the office i lost weight, my skin cleared up, i didn't have a cough for over a year, zero headaches and I could actually sleep at night.

I lowkey wanted another lockdown. I thought the monkeypox was it.

Read a damn book nikka. Be comfortable with silence and your own mind. I currently work with just 2 other people on my shift, and I can’t stand when people get bored and wanna entertain themselves by rambling about their home life, kids, dreams, etc. peace n quiet is GOAT
