Lol at him calling out Jai. Jai should just do it for the money and the name it would bring him. He would break that boys soul.

Great to see Austin on his shyt again though, hell of a first round win.

Doesn’t have to be an active fighter. Just a real boxer who stays in shape like Tarver. Jr best days were long behind him and even then he wast that good. Paul’s matchmaking is splendid. Pulling that drunk bum off the couch. I still say Tyson pulled some punches though.

It really is, people keep talking like they don't see the play, saying he don't fight real fighters is redundant as if it will shame him into changing his strategy. The best way to end all of this is to ignore him and stop giving him attention.

He has a point.

There's some truth to it, but instead of the boxing community overly hating on him and his tactics, they should be tapping in to his business model or taking notes on how he manages to pack a house of non boxing fans into an arena on a consistent basis. Honestly, that's Jake's long term contribution to boxing and the sustainable success route.

Him making some kind of run at a belt ain't realistic. The instant he faces a real talent him as the main draw is done, so that's a one shot big ticket. Once people realize the emperor never had on any clothes they not gonna pretend like him wearing them now.

He puts on a good event so he should keep bringing legit fights on his cards to continue to legitimize himself as a big time promoter in the sport.

All of this is attainable because of who he and his brother were before he decided to box. So his entire business model is a one of one.

I will give him props as a promoter tho. But again, no one from outside of our world would care about Serrano and Taylor if it weren't for him and who he was before this.

On the flip side of that, I feel like Ortiz wanted to post something else but didn't want to denigrate Chavez Jr in the process.

Before last night, I wouldn't have given a first thought, let alone a second thought to gifters taking "under the table" money to make him look good. Dude makes too many mistakes to be as competitive as he is.

Chavez Jr could have crushed his shyt if he really wanted, but I truly think there were discussions beforehand not to do that.

Now with the WBA possibly ranking him, how do y'all think it will be before someone actually puts him to sleep?
