O-line and defense were a major disappointment

At least it looks like they made the right choice going with Carr.

regroup and beat A&M

Bruh they actually were decent, but they were tired at hot af, y’all got something if cj plays that
The last drive them boys gas tanks were empty

Cac look like every 1980's rocker who had a behind the music episode that ended with them offing themselves.

Looks like Kurt Cobain 5 minutes before he pulled the trigger.

“Everything just became too much, he was tired and the music couldn’t save him”

(Cut to their last live performance as credits role)

I would say I want a rematch in the playoff, but somehow yall will fukk up enough to not even make it. :beli:
I havent rewatched the game yet. But from stands, QB looks legit just needs experience (Like I always say give me portal experience QB, Miami gonna need another next year, maybe he play his cards right we cut him a check :myman:)

Both RB you guys have play speed is on another level and they move faster than everyone else on field. Need to get them the ball more than whatever the hell they were doing tryna feed that TE. Your WR are overrated, did Greathouse even have a catch? But they will be able to go off on schedule gauntlet of Purdue and army/navy. I think the defense is legit just people underestimate what we have and seemed surprised. That A&M game is huge because schedule is empty after that unless SC ball out.

I mentioned in cfb thread, these games Mario always has us ready, its the random late season ACC game that get us for years. Team is more well rounded, I just wished we put B1G all conference players on bench at DB last year. We didnt spend the money and it cost us with elite QB.

Having slept on it, I think Notre Dame is more than fine. Carr will be good. I liked them wanting to pass early to get Carr comfortable, but I think they got away from their identity a bit in the process. Love only getting 10 carries is surprising.

To me, Notre Dame didn't have the steady pass rush to really rattle Beck, who is behind an excellent Miami offensive line. Beck looked fine, but for a guy considered one of the upper-level QBs in the nation, he'll fold under sustained pressure quicker than his peers. There were times he got a bit antsy, so that suggests to me that a Clemson or LSU could be problematic.

That said, if Miami's defense sustains this level of improvement, they're CFP bound.

Carr looked good, only thing I will be looking for is how he handles pressure from a team who blitzes more. We didnt really do that much and I felt like that let him get comfortable 2nd half. I dont know how he will react but for a 1st start redhsirt freshman, compared to others he looked good.

I think ND game plan was to get him comfortable then they psyched themselves out by not having Love carry the ball much (tho last year he didnt have much usage also and got fat on lower opponents too. He is kinda overhyped because of low usage but does have the tools) I like Price also but after fumble we didnt see him much, that hurts gameplan also because he had explosive run.

I try to tell people when it comes to Beck, but I think its hard for them to understand or they dont realize uga aint UGA, or they werent last year. The Oline was TRASH last year. They couldnt pass block and were 102 in rushing. I will repeat, uga was 102 in nation in RUNNING the ball. Stacy Searels is not the standard of oline coach you want, he was at miami, some guys just luck up. He trash. Then uga WR led nation is drops, talking WIDE OPEN drops.

And Im not saying Beck is great QB, we just came off Cam Freakin Ward show, I know I might not ever see that again but for all faults of Mario, one thing I KNOW he will do is build trenches. Even with Statue QB, he will guarantee his is protected (we gave up less sacks with tyler van dyke statue than Ward because he would hold the ball but thats his game, you take that). People underestimate us but we return 4 starters off line that great pass blocking and #5 rushing per carry in nation (we could be top running team last year but agains Ward show) Beck will be kept clean and he missed spring so he will get better with passing game as season goes on against easier pass defense than ND elite unit.

Give me experienced QB, who played in more big games than almost any QB in nation. People underestimate that and being plugged in offense thats gonna give you oline with 90+ starts protection and strong running game.
