"Peace is not a luxury—it’s a need. Many men aren’t seeking perfection in love—they’re seeking relief from constant tension. 63% say emotional peace is their top relationship priority, yet only 22% know how to express that need.
When a man withdraws, it’s not always indifference—it’s often self-preservation.
Understanding this gap can transform how we love and listen.

Then in these times you really need to pick right.

Picking emotionally fragile, unintelligent women will not lead to that kind of peace in a relationship.

If you honestly can’t talk to a woman about your problems because you’re scared, that’s a you problem.

If you can’t talk to her about problems because she’s a dummy or doesn’t care, then that’s still a you problem because you’re settling for it.

The value of accountability is more important now than ever in recent times. You wife and build a family with that “bimbo” and you’ll watch as other people’s kids go to good colleges and your son with a “phat ass” is useless.

"We fight every night now that's not kosher
I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer
And wake up to be greeted by an argument again
You act like you're a ten
So immature, I try to concentrate on a cure
And keep lookin' at the front door
Thinkin' if I were to evacuate
You'd probably be straighter than straight
And wouldn't have so much hate
'Cause you don't know the pain I feel when I see you smilin'
And when I roll up .. u start wildin'"

That "happy wife, happy life" statements needs to be put in scrap heap where it belongs.

shyt is, as they says these days, toxic as fukk.
Dogg my mentor used to harp on this. I value his professional knowledge, but when he told me this is his mantra for relationship success, I said "fukk that." I genuinely like doing for my lady and making her happy when I had one, but that walking on eggshells/tucking your nuts shyt is something I can no longer do. And it's not that i don't pick and choose my battles, but caving to your lady all the time, nah...

What is peace though? I see alot of people talking about ratchets, happy wife, happy life needs to die, etc. But I tend to disagree. I have had non loud non confrontational women, some would say supportive even. But there are times when I don't want to be bothered. I don't want to be touched. i don't want to be talked to. Just leave me alone. If she does any of that she is disturbing my peace.

That falls under the same umbrella as "What's mine is mine, and what's his is ours"

It's all about the needs and desires of one partner

Yall gotta be careful with that "peace" narrative

Its actually counterintuitive, but arguing someone is actually a sign that you're emotionally close with someone

Don't believe me,then look it up

If you're with someone and you never argue, or someone "withdraws" chances are they (or you) are holding shyt in and you'll get hit with a surprise eventually :francis:

Of course it goes without saying that there are healthy ways to argue vs destructive, relationship destroying ways and you should not be arguing constantly

I’m right there with you fam.

My General Sales Manager who is also my mentor (62, millionaire, second marriage but they’ve been married 23 years) straight up said you gotta put yourself first before your family. It might sound fukked up and it came with sacrifices, but he explained that having that mindset put him and his family in the best position financially and allowed his wife and children to live a financially worry free life. Wife is happy and kids might not seen him as much growing up but they understand completely now that they are older.
