HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - A CMS high school teacher, who was accused of having sex with a student, and her husband are dead following a SWAT situation at their Huntersville home Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Huntersville Police say a teacher accused of molesting a student and her husband are dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
Garinger High School teacher Emma Ogle, 63, who was arrested last week after being accused of having sex with a student.
Michael Ogle, 59, did not show up for work Wednesday morning and Officer Odette Saglimbeni says when a family member went to the home to check on him she reported that Emma Ogle was inside the home with a gun.
Several agencies responded to the home, including the Mecklengerb regional SWAT team.
"Once our SWAT was able to gain entry into the home they did locate two deceased parties inside the residence and they were of Emma Ogle and Michael Ogle; they did suffer from gunshot wounds," Saglimbeni explained.
An elementary school across the street from the police investigation was placed on a "code yellow" lockdown, according to school officials. That means regular classroom instruction continued, but students were not allowed outdoors.
"Its a very unfortunate situation," Saglimbeni added, "It's not a very common thing that we see here in Huntersville so when it happens it's shocking."
Police tell FOX 46 Emma Ogle died from a gunshot wound inside the home shortly after.
Details surrounding the situation inside the home are unclear and are still being investigated, Huntersville Police said.
63-YEAR-OLD TEACHER ARRESTED FOR HAVING SEX WITH TEENAGE STUDENT
Emma Ogle had been arrested last Thursday, accused of having sex with a teenage student. Ogle was charged with having sex with a student, taking felony indecent liberties with a student, and a crime against nature. Huntersville Police said Ogle engaged in sexual activity with a 17-year-old student at Garinger High School.
The duo began a relationship last spring which grew sexual over the summer, law enforcement officials, said.
Ogle started her career as a teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools’ Vance High School and joined as a career and technical health occupations teacher at Garinger High School in 2014. There is no concrete proof that the sex act happened within the school premises, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools told WCNC.
Police say the 17-year-old student reported 63-year-old Emma Neil Ogle to a staff member.
Emma Neil Ogle, a veteran teacher of Garinger High School in Charlotte, was taken into custody hours after the alleged victim, 46 years younger than her, reported about her probable conduct to the school staffers. She was released from jail the following morning after she paid a $10,000 bail bond, jail records show.
She was then arrested.
School officials say she has been suspended with pay, pending the outcome of the investigation.
Ogle was hired by CMS in 2005. She was a CTE teacher at Vance High School before going to Garinger. She had been suspended with pay, according to CMS.
Hambright Road between Swansboro Lane and Patterson Road were closed for hours due to the incident, Huntersville Police said.

The school issued an alert message on their website:
"Our elementary campus has entered into Code Yellow status. Remember Code Yellow status means regular instruction continues, but students remain inside the building (no outside activity).
There is police activity in the area, however not on campus. Our students are safe, however, we will remain in this Code Yellow status until police activity has ceased. We will communicate once that occurs. The high school/middle school campus is not affected."
