I dont get why everything defaulted to people being stupid
The American masses clearly has a growing sentiment of disenchantment and flat out distrust of 'the system' as a whole. Is that "stupid" , as well? Of course people are saying no...and theres more to it than being informed on climate change or not

Where would the investment come from ?
Please think before you start making stupid remarks, the tax would be to invest in something new. Transparency would be key obviously to ensure funds were properly being used. Here in Florida our bills have gone down due to efficiencies that were invested in previously. . . So yes it's achieveable and doable
Ok lets continue to poison the air we breathe with fossil fuels. Why would anyone want an electric car when they can have an suv. We don't need clean water sources. You love drinking heavily treated water with chemicals right? Doesn't matter if we can't breathe keep chopping down the trees so people can live in a 5 bedroom mcmansion with only 2 people. It feels great not having any cool air and extreme high summer temperatures right.
