7/29/2023 Showtime PPV presents The King of Fighters: Errol 'The Truth' Spence Jr vs Terence 'Bud' Crawford(WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO/Ring/Lineal 147 titles)

This fight is 4 years in the making, but finally it is happening. The undisputed 147lb champion. The most important fight in boxing is finally happening.

No more talk, no more speculation. Now is the time for both fighters to put their fists where their mouths are. Spence is 28-0(22 KO) coming off a brutal stoppage of Yordenis Ugas last April. Crawford is 39-0(30 KO) coming off a stoppage victory over David Avaneseyan in December.

May the best man win, poll is up simply choose who you feel will win and leave an explanation as to why if you feel like it. Any avi bets made for this fight need to be made in this thread so they can be tracked and @patscorpio can enforce them.

in terms of p4p - if spence wins this...he would have an argument for p4p #1 but still would face strong opposition from the likes of usyk, monster, and mell; if crawford wins this..he would be number 1...not too many fighters have a double undisputed title reign in this day and age

Bud didn't seem like he aged that much in the Avy fight and ended him with two handed power as usual.
More unknowns with Spence current state imo. Long period of inactivity, another car accident we don't know the severity of, and him losing focus and getting buzzed recently may or may not be aftereffects of the first accident, plus will that retina hold up to a power puncher who will land way more than Ugas did
If Crawford SNAC program has him as physically strong as he looked in the Porter fight I don't know if Spence war of attrition style will have the effect ppl thought it would.

this is basically my prediction...crawford is at the tail end of his physical prime but his performance hasnt hit that drop off point yet..spence though has absorbed a lot of blunt force trauma on his body since that fight with porter...in his fights after porter and the wreck he's also done some funny things that is setting off some legit alarms in my head and made me go ...i dont think spence shook off all of that...if he does one of those "funny things" again crawford may brutally stop him at that...crawford is an elite finisher
