This is what I said in the other thread where this is mentioned...

That gallup poll is bullshyt though. Gallup always overexaggerates whatever way the wind is blowing for some reason. If you take the average of all the polls, it's a virtual tie...Romney up by like 0.4. And that's on a rolling day average, mostly before the last debate. And Obama's still slightly up in VA and OH.

Obama's fine. If you take the RCP average right now, Obama is leading 294 to 244 on electoral votes.

Ehhh I don't believe the poll.

He probably will lose FL, but it's pretty much impossible for Romney to win without sweeping VA, OH, FL. Do the math. He gets all 3 and he just needs one more smaller swing state to get to 270. Without all 3, there's very little path for him. No way he's winning PA or WI.

RealClearPolitics - 2012 Election Maps - Electoral Map

I seriously doubt he'll get all 3 especially not OH. He's behind in both OH and VA. And I doubt Romney has much more upside between now and Nov. 6th.

I think Romney has FL in the bag and will probably win VA. I'd say odds are Obama keeps OH.

My electoral math might be off but I think if that happens then Obama wins a close election.

I think VA stays Obama from what I'm seeing its gonna come down to one county which went Obama last time and it's in the more progressive part of the state.

It also helps that Tim Kaine is leading George Allen in the Senate race.

Romney can win Ohio and Florida

or Virginia and Florida and still lose

If Obama can win Nevada, Iowa, Colorado and keep Wisconsin/Michigan/New Hampshire/Pennsylvania (the blue states that flirt going red) then Obama can theoretically lose all of VA, FL, and OH and still get 272 electoral votes
