Game solidified itself on my top 10 list, and I can't see it ever leaving.
I was blown away by the little details they put into even the most mundane seeming quests. It's been years, but I still remember a simple quest to get a pot for a lady who lent it to a guy, and though it didn't add to your reward, you could investigate and find out that dude was a spy. Or how a random event like a dude tied up on the side of the road, could end up as an event later if you free him.
It also did the BEST job with choice and consequence imo, and this extended to the side quests as well as main quests.
The biggest complaint people have about the game is usually the combat, and since I personally enjoyed it (and yes, I have played plenty of action games with better combat), I don't really have much to complain about.
If I were to criticize this game, my biggest one is that the beginning area has a lot of optional content, but is light on story. If you are the type who likes to find everything, you're going to spend about 4 hours in the TUTORIAL area! That area alone isn't enough to hook people in, which is why I see a lot of comments online like "Tried it before and couldn't get into it. Came back years later and now it's one of my favorite games!". If White Orchard had far less to explore, I think people would get into the main game faster, before they get bored and wander off.
