I'll start....after I get off this 405 freeway. A lot of negative statements will be shouted for about a half hour.

So I've been doing a lot of thinking... The black community (rightfully or wrongfully) can be super negative at times and since this forum is a by-product of that, sometimes it can be one of the most negative places on the net.

I'm at a point in my life where I want to embrace positivity so I figured I'd try an experiment. Who's down to commit to no negativity offline and online for the remainder of the work week?

RULES:
-No hating on anybody for anything. (i.e. "I'm happy and proud of Dr. Dre" vs. "Why that nikka aint donating nothing back to Compton!?!?")
-No generalizing an entire race, gender, or sexual orientation in a negative way
-Laughter is good medicine. You can laugh at things, but no negative insults or disses.
-Try to focus on the good side of news (i.e. "Congrats to them on a happy engagement." vs. "She's gonna cheat on him and take all his money. What a sucker!")

That's it. Plus it's ONLY three days. :aicmon:

I'm really interested to see if this (keeping a positive outlook) affects my general mood and disposition.

So is the Coli down or naw?
72 hours friend? Thats it :mjlol: I think friends can manage this like supervisors.
