this is gaining steam,just dont get the point of it. MCW can grow with Noel and the 2 top 10's this year you already know his strengths. if they get Jabari and say Harris you already have some scoring and need a guy to run the show
smart move. MCW's value will never be higher than it is now. plus Exum is way better.

This is just Hinkie's way of fielding potential offers for MCW. In reality MCW and Exum can play together.

This is a smoke screen they will take whomever of the top 3 is left to fall to them or they want a team like Orlando or Utah to give them some assetts but they will likely just stay at 3 and take Parker.

Is Exum a good shooter? If not, is there really that big of a difference between the two? Every video I've seen of Exum has him either getting to the basket and finishing or getting to the basket and creating for others.
Have you even saw Exum play 2 full games that weren't all-star ish?

Chad, I'm really enjoying the back and forth pieces between you and Kevin about the prospects (still miss Hollinger, but I'm a big fan of Kevin's SCHOENE system). In today's piece about Exum, you said the Sixers could draft him and you said "I think the more obvious fit comes if they trade Carter-Williams, an idea I'm told they have bounced around." Could you elaborate on what you've heard and the seriousness of it? Does that mean they don't think MCW is a future allstar?

Sam Hinkie is as asset collector. There are no untouchables on the second worst team in the NBA right now. Carter-Williams may have over performed a bit this rookie year given the situation he was in. If a team blew away the Sixers with an offer for him, yes I think they'd consider it. They like Exum and if they got another piece for Williams that made them better in the long-term, I think they could be willing to let him go.
