It's easy not to take Trump seriously because it's obvious he goes out there and does a parody of Donald Trump. He's only going to turn it up until it turns people off and he comes up with a reason to skip out on his bid for the Presidency. Still, he's a very dangerous man because he has given credence to dangerous ideas. He's shown that vile and decisive rhetoric is not only allowed in politics but welcome and people will embrace it. Imagine a candidate that actually wants to be President with these ideas and this support. People finding Trump entertaining and funny is not good either. Just shows where this country is headed when a guy who doesn't take himself seriously is a major contender for the top job.
Trump isn't really saying anything that other politicians haven't said, he's just slightly more crude about it.

i'm iffy on whether i feel he could win it all or not..... the media is being disingenuous in the way they report his poll numbers... they keep bragging about his 24% support in the republican primary... what they don't say is 76% of primary voters are not supporting him.. he has the highest negatives of anyone in the race... in fact, he might only be leading because the idiots on the right have 17 people running... if it were the best five of that bunch running against trump a lot of the 76% that don't support trump would have concentrated their support around another candidate...
