("Jurassic World Rebirth" becomes 3rd Film of the year to gross 800 from the US after "Minecraft" and "Lilo and Stitch")

Even though the film had competition from "How To Train Your Dragon" and "F1" before it came out. It had even more competition from "Superman" and "Fantastic Four" after it was released. Yet "Jurassic" is a ahead of everyone globally by a healthy margin. A billion is going to be hard again Competition really was everywhere this summer. "Jurassic" didn't even get a proper IMAX release and still did these numbers. "Superman" was able to do some damage domestically but globally comic book/superhero films just aren't hitting like the 2010's anymore. Some say it's "Super Hero Fatigue". I just believe Hollywood oversaturated the market the last 20 years and now people are just tired of the same ol' superhero/comic book films.

Say what you will about Jurassic but they don't release all the time. 7 films in 32 years. Thats an average of 1 film every 5 years or so. So everyone will always anticipate the next film. But with these comic book films, they are coming out all the time. I just think general audiences (Not comic stans per say) have reached their limit. Well Spidey, Avengers and another Deadpool/Wolverine or Black Panther will do well but everything else will be like 500 Million or less. "Superman" will tap out at 600. "Fantastic" will tap out at 500. Again those aren't bad numbers for both movies but people expectations had them believing either movie could possibly do a Billion and that just didn't happen. "Jurassic" is 200 million away but it just came out on a Digital. It had a nice opening in Japan this weekend too. With these numbers a sequel is definitely on the way. I wonder where they go from here. But think Scarjo and Mahershala will return for a sequel.

Glad I watched a bootleg as we were really set to find a babysitter to go see this. Money saved

And ain’t Delores gonna die when they get her home? Isn’t the point that these things are only thriving near the equator?
Get eat by your pet if it even survives past the order, and T-Rex can swim but not shred apart an inflatable boat:patrice::hhh:

I’m 40 minutes in and this has been the most boring shyt for the entire franchise. Who the fukk thought this was good for the script? :scust:

Edit: as a fan of the franchise, this has been the weakest and most boring film. It never got interesting or had me hooked. The characters were wack and the B story with the family was unnecessary filler to fill the script.

The only part I liked was with the T-Rex; they showed a side that hasn’t been seen. Spino got an upgrade, which was cool. The new baddie Belugafacehuggersaurus was :trash:

Glad I didn’t go see this on theaters. :camby:
