Take it from someone who lived through stop and frisk, it didn't do a damn thing.
We literally got around it by just making females hold the guns in their purses since they rarely got searched.
The crime rate was always trending downwards, so it can't really be attributed to that shyt.
And while it's easy to get a gun, you still need certain connections and not just any bozo will go through the hassle.
That's why you don't hear of dudes in NYC with switches and all kinds of bullshyt.
I honestly just think that Black people in New York in general tend to get things out of our system faster than others.

...not saying you're wrong in regards to ny, but Chicago peoples are pretty quick to call bullshyt for what it is at the drop of a dime. Even people who aren't necessarily "street" oriented.
I just think the sentencing of criminals became lax over the years to the point that some guys became accustomed to acting more reckless.
