Federal Reserve Audit Bill Overwhelmingly Passes The House

WASHINGTON -- In a rare moment of bipartisanship, the House overwhelmingly passed a bill by Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) to audit the Federal Reserve.

The bill (H.R. 459), which has 270 co-sponsors, passed 327 to 98. All but one Republican -- Rep. Bob Turner of New York -- voted for it, along with 89 Democrats.

Well when your money isn't worth shyt and you can print as much of it as you want, without a gold standard or any other type of commodity backing your currency, this is bound to happen.

In the future y'all think it would be wise to convert all yo cheddar to another countries currensy? Idk how these work but Ive been hearing how there really isnt any real value backing the US dollar (it used to be gold)., so will there be point where other countries stop respecting it and nikkas with all dis money in US will be assed out?

I'm not an economist but depending on how inflation goes, that's historically the pattern.

The US economy would have to buckle severely, though, before that happened. I don't think we're in danger of that at the moment.
