Daz has already sold 22,000 copies and counting of RR&G2, at $25 a pop if you do the math it's no wonder hes being vocal about his disdain for the dsp conglomerates and the pennies they pay artists.

Album is complete and being pressed and packed as we speak, oh, and dont forget Daz bought a CD pressing plant like 20 years ago so his cost to profit margin is highly in his favor.

Daz says the music on vol 3 is even better than vol 2, first single delivers that classic RR&GB sound, produced by Daz & Amplified.

Vol 2 and 3 were both recorded over like a 7 year period, hes basically been stockpiling tracks that fit the sound of the original album, to me vol 2 was great and apparently he saved the hardest joints for Vol 3 since (at least as of now) it will be CD only no streaming.

I couldn't say off hand, he might say it on the bonus DVD for u Know What I'm Theowin Up, it might be in Mississippi, honestly can't recall or it's possible he never said the location, he owns a lot of property throughout the states, compounds in Mississipi and Georgia, building a soundstage and editing bay at one location.

But yeah, his manufacturing cost per cd is .45 cents, hes already made half a ticket off his most recent CD.

This is shaping up to be a great year for DPGC artists, Daz has been dropping heat, Techniec dropped a flawless album (Patience Of God Season 2) Daz is doubling right back and Dogg Food 2 is dropping halloween.

Just wish Kurupt would give us a focused solo project with proper producers.

Yuuuuup, and Daz said a couple years ago they were taking it back to the original formula with him and Soopa doing the beats, and I assume Amplified is involved which since hes been on board Daz beats have been back to that 90s calibre.

Yeah that would be great, I'd love to see a big rollout for this, would be dope to have a documentary with it talking about the new and OG Dogg Food recordings, maybe some bonus features like the never seen video for Respect, or a bonus cd with session tracks leftover from the OG album, theres 2 official remixes for Dogg Pound Gangstaz that was supposed to come out as a maxi single just sitting in the vault. But yeah a vinyl reissue with proper liner note artwork would be great.

Yeah I was surprised with how well he replicated the original sound, honestly I had zero complaints with the album other than it missing a couple guest features I was hoping for, which maybe we will see ppl like Rage and Tray Deee on Vol 3
