The Miz interrupted Hunter, causing the crowd to go silent. They discussed the happenings from the last two episodes of Raw where Randy Orton beat him up in front of his parents, and Big Show knocked him out. The main event was set up as The Miz vs. Randy Orton, the stipulation being who can convince the crowd more.
World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio def. R-Truth
A squash match. Afterward, Del Rio put Truth & Lil' Jimmy III in the Cross Arm Breaker. Rob Van Dam ran in afterwards. Ricardo Alfonso threw RVD a chair that he used to beat Del Rio with, the seat of which was made with fine Corinthian leather.
Triple H was shown backstage in a room, talking on the phone with Vince. Seemingly not convinced still that Randy Orton might not be the "Face of the WWE". Jason Thurgood Goode came into the room dressed in militia fatigues, grabbing the cellphone from Triple H. Triple H began to berate Jason for ruining what was "Best for..." before Jason finished with "Business". "Im gonna finish what the SHIELD failed to do Monday." speaking last before Triple H was stunned, pondering what just happened.

A emergency personal ran up to Trips, telling him Zack Ryder was taken out backstage; asking him to come as soon as possible. Goode smiled, as Triple H smiled back, patting Goode on the shoulder. "I think he gets it." Triple H could be heard mumbling on his way to check on Ryder.

A.J. won after a flying knee, debuting a new sidekick in addition.
Paul Heyman cut a sick promo about how he will topple C.M. Punk at Battleground and will always be the man standing over him.
Santino Marella and The Great Hightower def. 3MB
3MB played flutes to bring The Cobra to life, and to use it against Santino. Drew McIntrye was swept away to a Warp Zone in his quest to find the Chosen One in one of the McMahon castles.
Goode was shown in a boiler room, searching for something. Dean Ambrose grabbed Goode behind on the Shoulder, yelling in his face to stop being a vigilante, as the Shield are the hounds of justice. Goode pressed the end of a lead pipe against the chest of Ambrose, responding that the Sheild have gotten complacent in delivering the justice that is needed in the WWE. Ambrose lower the tone of his voice, as Thurgood pointed to his eyes and then back into Ambrose's.
Randy Orton def. The Miz
Miz was nursing a torn ego and Orton put a beating on him, so the referee disqualified Orton. La Nariz de Clearisil restarted the match, saying Orton was trying to get disqualified. Hunter said Randy had to win by pinfall. The crowd hated Miz and cheered for Orton. It was an uncompetitive match and Orton finished it with an RKO.
