Does anybody else remember how the cassette tape for this album was blue? Jay bit that for the blueprint cassette

My favorite song was always let em know that kicked the album off :ohlawd:

Yeah when I heard "Now I'm gonna show you how the west coast smacks kids" I was like :dwillhuh: I thought they were from NY for sure.

yeah but im sayin that song trash compared to real new york hiphop b, thats why it sound weak cause the flame wasnt in their hearts

classic album…can’t say it enough…changed my perspective of west coast MCs at the time and just rappers outside of NY/NJ in general…can still bump every track on that album to this day and still feel as great listening to it as I did my first time…easily my favorite hip hop album of all time…and not tied with anything else for that spot

To me the 90s was so good you can pick any random hip hop album from that era and it won't sound unlistenable or unbearable because dudes took months to year to complete projects.
